In this way, several cycles are carried out to make the electrode fully penetrate into the electrolyte and fully activate until the capacity meets the requirements. This is the activation process - capacity separation, which is to test the capacity of the battery, select batteries with different performance (capacity) for classification, classify the battery level, and match the capacity. In this way, the lithium-ion battery can be activated in the user's hands.

　　(2) The commonly used nickel cadmium battery and nickel hydrogen battery are the same. They leave the factory only after activation. The activation process of some batteries requires that the battery be opened and sealed after activation. This process can only be completed by the battery manufacturer. There is a problem here. Sometimes the time for batteries from battery plants to reach users is very long, ranging from one month to six months. At this time, since the electrode material of the battery will be passivated, the manufacturer recommends that the battery used for the first time should be charged and discharged for 3-5 times to eliminate the passivation of the electrode material and reach the maximum capacity. In the three national standards for MH Ni, Cd Ni and lithium-ion batteries issued in 2001, the initial capacity test clearly stipulated that the battery can be deeply charged and discharged for five times. When the requirements are met once, the test can be stopped. This well explains what I said. ★ It can also be called the second activation.
