Explanation of the characteristics of lithium power batteries

  (1) The working voltage of a single battery is as high as 3.7V, which is three times that of nickel cadmium batteries, nickel hydrogen batteries, and nearly twice that of lead-acid batteries. This is also an important reason for the high specific energy of lithium power batteries. Therefore, when forming a power battery pack with the same voltage, the number of series connections used for lithium power batteries will be significantly less than that of lead-acid batteries and nickel hydrogen batteries.

  (2) Lightweight, with a high specific energy of up to 150Wh/kg, which is twice that of nickel hydrogen batteries and four times that of lead-acid batteries. Therefore, the weight is one-third to quarter of that of lead-acid batteries with the same energy. From this perspective, lithium batteries consume less resources. Moreover, due to the large reserves of elements used in lithium manganese batteries, the price of lead-acid and nickel hydrogen batteries may further increase, and the cost of lithium power batteries may further decrease.

  (3) Small in size, up to 400Wh/L, the volume is half to one-third of that of lead-acid batteries. Provided design conditions, space, and possibilities for a more reasonable structure and more aesthetically pleasing appearance. At present, due to the limitations of the volume and weight of lead-acid batteries, the design ideas of designers are greatly constrained, resulting in the structure and appearance of electric bicycles being "a thousand cars, one side", similar, and monotonous.

  (4) Long cycle life, with up to 1000 cycles. Based on a capacity of 60%, the battery pack can have a 100% charge and discharge cycle count of over 600 times, a service life of 3-5 years, and a lifespan of approximately two to three times that of lead-acid batteries. With the innovation of technology and the improvement of equipment, the lifespan of batteries will become longer and the cost-effectiveness will become higher.

  (5) The self discharge rate is low, less than 5% per month.

  (6) The allowable working temperature range is wide, and the low-temperature performance is good. Lithium power batteries can operate between -20 ℃ and+55 ℃, especially suitable for low-temperature use. However, aqueous solution batteries (such as lead-acid batteries and nickel hydrogen batteries) can significantly reduce performance due to poor electrolyte fluidity at low temperatures.

  (7) There is no memory effect, so there is no need to discharge like nickel cadmium batteries or nickel hydrogen batteries before each charge, and charging can be done anytime and anywhere. The depth of battery charging and discharging has little impact on the battery's lifespan, and it can be fully charged and fully discharged. Our cycle test is full charged and fully discharged.
