  1. Polymer battery life and charging cycle

  The lifespan of lithium batteries is related to the number of charging cycles completed, rather than directly related to the number of charging cycles. After each charging cycle, the power will slightly decrease. However, the decrease was minimal. After multiple cycles, high-quality batteries can still maintain 80% of their original power. That's why many lithium-ion battery power products are still in normal use two to three years later.

  Of course, lithium batteries still need to be replaced at the end of their service life. Usually about five years. Simply put, for example, a lithium battery only consumes half of its electricity on the first day, and then it is fully charged. If this is still the case the next day, that is, charging half and charging twice in total, it can only be counted as one charging cycle, not two.

  Therefore, completing a cycle may take several times. After each charging cycle, the power will slightly decrease. However, the decrease was minimal.   2. How long will polymer batteries be scrapped

  Of course, lithium batteries ultimately need to be replaced. The service life of lithium batteries is generally 300-500 charging cycles. Assuming that the power provided by complete discharge is Q, without considering the power reduction after each charging cycle, lithium batteries can provide or supplement a total of 300q-500q of power within their service life. From this, it can be seen that if you charge 12 times each time, you can charge 600 to 1000 times; If you use 13 charges each time, you can charge 900 to 1500 times.

  By analogy, if charging is random, the number of times is uncertain. In short, regardless of charging, the total power added is between 300q and 500q, which is constant. Therefore, we can also understand that the service life of lithium batteries is related to the total charge capacity of the battery, and is not related to the number of charges. Deep discharge and deep charging, as well as shallow discharge and shallow charging, have little impact on the lifespan of lithium batteries.

  In fact, shallow discharge and shallow charging are more advantageous for lithium batteries. Deep discharge and deep charging are only required when calibrating the lithium battery of the product's power module. Therefore, products powered by lithium batteries do not need to adhere to this process. Everything comes first with convenience. They can be charged at any time without worrying about affecting their lifespan.
