Lithium polymer battery (Li polymer, also known as polymer lithium battery) is a soft pack square lithium-ion battery. In terms of shape, lithium polymer batteries have ultra-thin and small-scale customized production, which can meet the needs of various product sizes and be made into batteries of any shape and capacity. This type of battery can achieve a minimum thickness of up to 0.2mm.
The characteristics of lithium polymer batteries are as follows:
1. There is no battery leakage problem, and the battery does not contain liquid electrolyte inside, using colloidal solids.
2. It can be made into ultra-thin batteries, with a thickness as thin as 0.2mm.
3. The battery can be designed into different shapes based on the product.
4. Battery can bend and deform: Polymer batteries can bend up to around 900 degrees.
5. Can be made into a single high voltage: Liquid electrolyte batteries can only be connected in series with several batteries to obtain high voltage, polymer batteries.
5. Due to its absence of liquid, it can be combined into multiple layers within a single unit to achieve high voltage
6. The capacity will be higher than that of lithium-ion batteries of the same size.
