There is a simple formula for the calculation of the charging time of nickel -metal hydride battery: hour = 1.5C/charging current. For example: charging 1200mAh battery, the charging current of the charger is 150mA, the time is 1800mAh/150mA equal to 12 hours. The battery capacity depends on the labeling and charging current outside the battery to see the input current marked on the charger:

There are two ways to charge nickel -metal hydride batteries, which are the fast charging and slow charging we all know. Fast charging and slow charging are an important concept of charging. Only by understanding fast charging and slow charging can we correctly control the charging.
