The matrix materials used by domestic lithium battery manufacturers are mostly purchased externally, and their own research and development capabilities are not strong. It is reported that Asahi Kasei and Celgard have produced some polypropylene and polyethylene materials by themselves. Especially after partnering with Mobil Chemical and adopting the high melting point polyethylene material developed by Mobil Chemical, Tonen has launched a wet process PE lithium battery separator with a melting point of up to 170 ℃.
