What are the precautions during the use of lithium batteries?

  The working process of lithium battery is that when the chemical reaction starts, the extra electrons inside the battery are released to discharge. The process of releasing extra electrons is just like that in the process of iron oxidation and rusting, iron reacts with oxygen and releases electrons to oxygen to form iron oxides. The standard battery structure is to separate two metals or compounds with different chemical potentials with a layer of porous insulator. Chemical potential is the energy stored between atoms and chemical bonds. When electrons can move freely in the external equipment connecting them, these energies can be transferred to those moving electrons. Conductive liquids such as brine are often used to transport soluble ions. During the reaction, these ions can be transferred from the surface of one metal to the surface of another metal in the solution. We usually call such conductive liquids electrolytes. In the discharge process, the metal or compound that loses electrons is called anode, and the metal or compound that gains electrons is called cathode. In the external circuit, the electron flows from the anode to the cathode, which is the current we use to drive electric equipment.

  (1) It is recommended that the battery be used at the temperature of+5 ℃~+30 ℃ (preferably 25 ℃). High temperature will shorten the life and low temperature capacity;

  (2) It is strictly forbidden to mix batteries of different brands, different capacities and different old and new ones;

  (3) Hydrogen will appear during battery use, so keep away from fire sources, keep ventilation and prevent explosion;

  (4) Please keep the environment clean, too much dust may cause short circuit of the battery;

  (5) After the battery is discharged, it should be recharged in time. If the battery is not fully charged, the battery capacity will be reduced or even damaged, so it must be equipped with a suitable charger;

  (6) If the load of UPS is too light (such as 1KVA UPS with 150VA load), it may cause deep discharge of the battery, which should be prevented as far as possible;

  (7) Proper discharge is conducive to the activation of the battery. If the mains supply is not stopped for a long time, the battery should be discharged manually 2 to 4 times a year. The current load can be used to discharge for 1/4 to 1/3 of the backup time; 8) The battery (UPS) that has been out of service for a long time should be charged and stored, and the battery should be charged and discharged once every half a year. Generally, the battery should be float charged for about 4~10 hours, and it should work for 2~3 minutes under the battery inverter state
