There are five common reasons lithium-ion batteries explode

　　1. The negative electrode capacity of lithium-ion batteries is insufficient. When the negative capacity of the positive part of the lithium-ion battery is insufficient, lithium atoms cannot be inserted into the interlayer structure of the negative graphite during charging, and will precipitate on the surface of the negative electrode to form crystals. When the overcharging core of lithium ion battery is overcharged, the excessive release of positive lithium will change the structure of the positive electrode, and it is easy for too much lithium to be inserted into the negative electrode, which will easily lead to lithium precipitation on the surface of the negative electrode. 　　5. External short circuit External short circuit may be caused by wrong connection of positive and negative poles. Due to external short circuit, the battery discharge current is high, which will heat the battery.
