No; cold-discharge capability does not imply cold-charging capability. Check minimum charge temperature, minimum discharge temperature, temperature sensing and charge-inhibit logic separately. If sub-zero charging is required, also confirm whether heating is provided and how it is activated.

Provide at least four values: minimum startup, minimum continuous operation, minimum charging and minimum storage temperature. Also include cold-soak duration, continuous and peak current at the minimum temperature, available insulation or preheating and the difference between internal and ambient temperature.

Do not apply one universal percentage; use model- and load-specific test data. Compare usable Wh, voltage sag and resistance at room temperature and the target low temperature, then test with the project’s real current profile. If data is unavailable, use a larger energy and power margin.

No; heating also has defined limits. Check heating start and stop temperatures, required input power, warm-up time, available energy after cold soak, whether load operation is permitted during heating and enclosure insulation. Include heating energy in the runtime calculation.

Define the cold soak and load profile from the real application. Specify target temperature, soak time, initial state of charge, charge/discharge current, peak duration, cut-off conditions, recovery time and acceptance criteria, and record cell temperature, voltage, capacity and protection events.
