Hysincere offers 12V, 24V and 36V LiFePO4 lead-acid replacement batteries. Before choosing a model, check the charger profile, continuous load, start-up or peak demand, case size, terminal layout and operating temperature against the equipment requirements.

What to Check Before Replacing FLA, AGM, GEL or Other SLA Batteries

SLA is an umbrella term for sealed lead-acid batteries, commonly including AGM and GEL; FLA means flooded lead-acid. These labels identify the original battery type, but nominal voltage alone does not confirm a suitable LiFePO4 replacement. Record the battery bank, charger, load and installation details first.

Record the Existing Battery Bank

Record the bank’s nominal voltage, rated capacity (Ah), battery count and series/parallel arrangement. Include the original battery type and model if available.

Identify the Charging System

Record the charger model, output voltage and current, and its active charging stages or settings. Do not assume it can be reused; check it against the exact battery model’s charging requirements.

Measure Continuous and Peak Loads

Record the normal continuous load and the highest start-up or short-duration peak from motors, pumps, inverters or other equipment. Include the peak duration if known.

Check Space, Terminals and Cables

Measure the battery compartment and service clearance. Confirm case dimensions, terminal type and position, polarity and cable reach for the exact model.

Check the Exact Battery Model Against Your System

Check the exact model’s published data against your equipment requirements. These four checks help narrow the choice before engineering review or installation.

Charger and Charge Settings

Check the charger model, charge voltage, current and active stages against the exact battery model. If the profile cannot be verified, include the charger details in the project review.

Load and Circuit Protection

Check the model’s published continuous and peak discharge limits against the equipment load. Confirm fuse, cable, connector and polarity requirements for the installation.

Case, Terminals and Wiring

Confirm case dimensions, service clearance, terminal layout, polarity and cable routing for the actual battery compartment.

Operating Temperature

Check the exact model’s published charge and discharge temperature ranges against the site conditions. Self-heating is available only on selected models.
